Brinjal Dosa makes a healthy breakfast or snack time recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- Brinjals (sliced):- 2
- Dry coconut:- 2 tbsp
- Uncooked rice (soak overnight):- 1 cup\
- Dried red chilies:- 2
- Cumin seeds:- 1 tsp
- Brown sugar/jaggery:- 1 tbsp
- Salt:- To taste
- Tamarind:- 1 tsp
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Spatula
- Pan
- Serving dish
PREPARATION METHOD
- Blend rice, red chilies, dry coconut, jaggery/brown sugar, jeera, salt and tamarind.
- Put the brinjal slices in a bowl filled with water.
- Heat a pan and spread little oil on it. Arrange the brinjal slices.
- Pour the prepared dosa batter on a pan and spread evenly.
- Spread another tbsp of oil and cook covered.
- Remove the lid and flip the dosa. Cook the other side.
- Serve hot.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve hot with or without chutney.
